Terms of service
Last updated: 30 August 2026.
These terms govern your use of Trenvano, an app that adds a cash on delivery order form to a Shopify store and copies the resulting orders into Google Sheets. By installing or using Trenvano you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install the app.
1. The agreement
This agreement is between YAOVI HENOC ODJI, trading as Trenvano ("we", "us", "Trenvano") and the person or company that installs the app on a Shopify store ("you", "the merchant").
These terms, together with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us about Trenvano. They do not change your agreement with Shopify, which is separate.
2. What Trenvano provides
Trenvano is a subscription service that:
- adds a cash on delivery order form to your product pages, with fields, wording and colours you choose;
- creates an order in your Shopify store from what the shopper submits;
- appends each order as a row in the Google Sheets you have mapped that product to;
- records whether each delivery succeeded, retries the ones that did not, and shows you the result.
Trenvano does not take payments, does not deliver goods, and does not handle disputes between you and your customers. Cash on delivery means you collect payment yourself.
3. Your Shopify store and your account
You need an active Shopify store to use Trenvano. Your access to the app is tied to that store. You are responsible for who you give access to your Shopify admin, and anything they do in Trenvano is treated as done by you.
You must be old enough to enter into a contract in your country, and you must be authorised to act for the business that owns the store.
4. Plans, allowances and prices
Prices are in US dollars and are charged monthly through Shopify.
| Plan | Price per month | Orders per billing period | Connected sheets | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0.00 | 100 | 1 | Not applicable |
| Pro | $14.95 | 10,000 | 3 | 7 days |
| Business | $34.95 | Unlimited | 10 | 7 days |
| Premium | $49.95 | Unlimited | Unlimited | 7 days |
Routing rules are unlimited on every plan. The Free plan is permanent and has no trial, because there is nothing to trial: it does not expire.
An order counts towards your allowance when Trenvano successfully creates it from the order form. The billing period follows your Shopify subscription period on a paid plan, and the calendar month on the Free plan. You will be warned in the app as you approach your allowance. Orders placed through your normal Shopify checkout are unaffected by any of this.
Once you reach your allowance, the order form keeps accepting orders, but those orders are held instead of being created. A held order does not appear in your Shopify admin and is not written to your sheets. The shopper is told that their order has been received and will be confirmed shortly, not that it is confirmed.
Moving to a plan with a larger allowance releases every held order automatically, oldest first, and each released order counts against the new allowance. Held orders are not released by your billing period rolling over. If your allowance resets and you have not upgraded, they stay held. A held order that is never released is deleted 90 days after it was placed, and once it is deleted it cannot be recovered. The app tells you how many orders you are holding and how long they have left.
Prices exclude any taxes that apply to you. Shopify collects and remits taxes where it is required to.
5. Billing, trials and cancellation
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's application billing, and charges appear on your Shopify invoice. We never see or handle your card details.
Paid plans include a 7 day free trial. If you cancel before the trial ends you are not charged. If you do not cancel, the subscription begins and recurs every 30 days until it is cancelled.
You can cancel at any time by changing your plan in the app or by uninstalling Trenvano. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Charges already made are not refunded except where the law requires it or where we agree otherwise in writing. Refunds, where any are due, are handled through Shopify.
If a charge fails or your subscription lapses, your store moves to the Free plan and its allowances apply. Nothing is deleted when that happens.
We may change prices. We will give notice in the app before a change affects you, and you may cancel rather than accept it.
6. Changing plan
You can move between plans at any time. Shopify handles the proration between subscriptions.
Moving to a plan that allows fewer connected sheets does not delete anything. Sheets beyond your new limit stop receiving orders and are flagged in the app so that you can choose which ones to keep. Your order history and your existing spreadsheet rows are untouched.
7. Connecting a Google account
Writing orders into Google Sheets requires you to connect a Google account. You confirm that you are entitled to grant that access for the account you connect, and that connecting it does not breach your own agreement with Google or with your employer.
Trenvano uses that access only to list your spreadsheets so you can choose one, and to read and write the sheets you have chosen. The scopes requested and how the access is stored are set out in the privacy policy. You may disconnect at any time in the app, or revoke access in your Google account. If you do, order routing to the affected sheets stops.
Google may change or restrict its APIs. If that stops Trenvano writing to your sheets, we will tell you, but we are not responsible for Google's decisions.
8. Your responsibilities
- You decide what your order form asks for. Only ask for what you need, and tell your shoppers how you will use it. You are responsible for your own privacy notice and for any consent your law requires.
- You are responsible for the goods you sell, for delivering them, for collecting payment, and for complying with the consumer, tax, distance selling and cash handling laws that apply to you.
- You are responsible for keeping your Google account and your Shopify admin secure, and for who you share your spreadsheets with.
- You are responsible for checking that orders are reaching your sheets. The app shows failures and lets you retry them.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use Trenvano to:
- break the law, or sell goods you are not permitted to sell;
- collect personal data you have no lawful basis to collect, or use the order form to gather data unrelated to fulfilling an order;
- send unsolicited marketing to people who submitted the order form, unless they agreed to it;
- deceive shoppers about the price, the payment method or who they are buying from;
- place fake or automated orders, load test the service against our systems without asking, or try to work around your plan allowance;
- probe, scan or interfere with the service or the systems it runs on, or attempt to access another merchant's data;
- copy, decompile or reverse engineer the app, or resell it as your own.
10. Data protection
For the personal data of your shoppers, you are the controller and we are your processor. We process that data only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and sets out what we hold, for how long, and who else is involved.
Where an order is held because you are past your allowance, we store the shopper details in that order, encrypted, until the order is released or deleted. That is the only shopper personal data we keep in our own database. Section 4 explains when a held order is released and when it is deleted, and the privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored.
We handle Shopify's mandatory privacy requests for customer data, customer erasure and shop redaction. The privacy policy explains what each one does.
If you need a separate data processing agreement, ask us using the details in section 20.
11. Intellectual property
Trenvano, including the app, its code and its branding, belongs to us. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it on your store while your subscription is active, and nothing more.
Your store, your products, your data and your spreadsheets belong to you. We claim no rights over them and use them only to provide the service.
12. Shopify, Google and other third parties
Trenvano depends on Shopify and on Google. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their acts, outages, pricing or policy changes. If either of them changes something Trenvano relies on, we may have to change the app to match.
13. Availability, support and changes
We aim to keep Trenvano available and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third party outages and faults happen. We do not offer a service level agreement unless we have agreed one with you in writing.
Support is provided as described on the support page.
We may add, change or remove features. We will not remove a material feature from a plan you are paying for without telling you first and giving you the chance to cancel.
14. No warranty
Trenvano is provided as it is and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms that are not set out here, whether express or implied, including any implied terms about satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be free of errors, that every order will reach every sheet, or that it will meet a particular requirement of yours. Your statutory rights as a consumer, if you have any, are not affected.
15. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss, however it arises.
Subject to that, our total liability to you for all claims connected with Trenvano in any 12 month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 100 if that is greater.
16. Indemnity
You will cover us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from what you sell, from your handling of your shoppers' personal data, or from your use of Trenvano in breach of section 9.
17. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Trenvano at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your use puts the service or other merchants at risk, if payment fails, or if we are required to by Shopify, Google or the law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right.
When the app is uninstalled, its access to your store ends immediately. Shopify asks us to delete your data 48 hours later, and we do. What is deleted, and what stays in your own Google Sheets, is set out in the privacy policy. Export anything you want to keep before you uninstall.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For a change that materially affects you, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Trenvano after that means you accept the updated terms.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Côte d'Ivoire, and the courts of Côte d'Ivoire have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either of us may seek an injunction wherever it is needed. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the law of the country you live in.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
